Listen. Though maybe you already have to the soundtrack that changed my 11-year-old life—still think of the cosmic closet when I hear that Whitney joint—but if you haven’t and want something splashy and so rarely earnest, pop this in the VCR. Jennifer Garner’s sublime.

“This is a trajectory and your ending is nowhere in sight yet.” Just a reminder that it’s okay to leave something you loved. -ed, the operative suffix, ‘cause if you think about it—change really is inevitable, so isn’t it lucky to have had love at any stage before? Even if what’s next is less action-packed, perhaps getting time to trace the arc will bare what you want to smooth out. I also love the diagram; who says spiraling is bad?
